Safety, Maintenance: Assists in maintaining the safety of all employees, and assists with equipment and building maintenance as needed. Assists in physical inventories, ensuring the proper stock rotation by following lot number identification. Inventory: Keeps appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Helps maintain a clean and orderly workspace, remove wood, plastic and other obstacles from floor. Housekeeping: Recognizes a clean working environment is necessary at all facilities. Advises the supervisor of problems encountered, reports damaged and broken/faulty equipment immediately, and operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. On a daily basis, inspects and verifies that equipment is operating properly at the start of the day’s activities. Loading: Efficiently moves product from the staging area or storage areas into trailers.Įquipment: Performs operations with a variety of material handling equipment maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Makes certain product comes from the proper locations and lot numbers agree to the picking documents, and performs the picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
