![]() ![]() When my video is done I’ll send you a link. The main features I need in Lightroom CC: Photo management, creating albums and stuff. One thing to note is, Darktable or DigiKam dont really cut it because they miss the cloud sync that I like and use heavily in Lightroom CC. If you don’t want this when you are done you can delete the local classic folders. I am looking for an alternative for Lightroom CC that runs on Linux. This will mean you have two local copies however, the one from Classic and the one from cc. Honestly these days the line between the two is very blurred, especially with Adobe raw in photoshop, I suppose Lightroom has great storage and organization techniques. If you want to access local copies from CC make sure you turn on your local storage in cc prefs. I hop back and forth between the two, though Ill admit, I tend to lean more on Classic, mainly because of old habits, and I have more than 1TB of images. Lightroom is a Digital asset management program that has basic editing tools attached to it. Otherwise, the edit-everywhere capability of CC is really nice. Perhaps because of this, its editing tools are a little less full. This could lead to a Banned.Ĩ- Report accordingly and keep this community clean.ĩ- Posts will be treated on a base by base case and handled accordingly.ġ0- Other Questions/Comments/Suggestion, contact the MODs. Lightroom Classic supports tethered shooting, and CC doesnt, so that might be a deciding factor, if you do studio photography. Megathreads / Useful links I searched the net but couldnt find a fair comparison as per the latest update between cc and classic. Cc is a simpler program but doesn't have all of the features that classic does. Classic is the full fledged version with many features and a steeper learning curve. ![]() I see the curves are now included along with HSL and split tone. They are two different products for two different types of users. As a general rule, all threads need to be about Adobe Lightroom, the Lightroom Mobile App, and within the scope of Lightroom add-ons/plugins/presets. I used to use Lightroom classic on my laptop, but the laptop started to get buggy and would crash regularly while editing. Hi All, Lately I logged into lightroom cc and to my pleasant surprise I see lots of tools at my disposal which i thought were earlier missing. /r/Lightroom is currently undergoing a facelift.
